Hoodoo Hot Foot Spells, Recipes and More

Hot Foot Spells are one of the most traditional and time-tested spells in hoodoo. Hot Foot Spells are used when you seek to drive someone away from you, make someone leave, move out, go away, get fired, etc. In rootwork terms, they are a forceful and effective way to compel someone to leave, without doing them genuine harm. Almost all forms of Hot Foot Spells use Hot Foot Powder or some of the ingredients found in Hot Foot Powder.

Hot Foot Powder

Hot Foot Powder is one of the oldest and most traditional sachet powders used in hoodoo. It is mainly composed of all manner of hot chilis, sulfur and other highly irritating or "hot" ingredients, ground into a fine powder mixed with either talcum powder or cornstarch (Dr. E. Products uses corn starch for our powder base as talcum powder is a mild carcinogen).

Hot Foot Powder is usually deployed by sprinkling it on the ground where your target will walk over it. This works through the principle of foot track magic: magically affecting your target through the feet, as the feet are what carry a person through life. Additionally, a person will typically track substances into their home or car after walking through it thus introducing it into their private space. A particularly effective way of hitting a target with Hot Foot Powder.

Because Hot Foot Powder has such a distinctive color and is easy to see, it's usually best to mix it with equal parts of local dirt to hide its color from your intended target before sprinkling it.

Hot Foot Oil (GTFO! Oil)

Hot Foot Oil or GTFO! Oil (Dr. E. Product's brand name) is an oil version of Hot Foot Powder that is useful when you want to drive someone away but can't get them to walk through Hot Foot Powder. Hot Foot Oil (GTFO! Oil) can be used on doorknobs, keyboards, phones, chairs or other objects that your enemy will touch. They'll get the Hot Foot Oil on their bodies and it will magically hit them on a physical level. Since it is invisible it's best to use on objects that will be handled instead of Hot Foot Powder (with the exception of paper - do not use GTFO! Oil (Hot Foot Oil) on paper as it will wick into the paper and stain it).

Hoodoo Hot Foot Spell to Make Someone Move Away

This is one of the most traditional ways of using Hot Foot Powder and it is very effective. Take a packet of Hot Foot Powder and mix it with equal parts of dried local dirt. Sprinkle* this powder across your enemy's doorstep or across the walkway leading up to their home. Make sure to name your intended target and command them to move away, go away or find their blessings elsewhere. I like to say "(So and so's name) with this Hot Foot Powder I burn your feet and light a fire under your ass to make you move away! In Jesus' name I pray! Your blessing lie everywhere but no longer here. Go elsewhere and find those blessings because your time here is DONE! Amen!"

Make sure to also sprinkle powder on the ground around the driver's side door of their car, and across the threshold to their workplace if you can find it. If you are targeting a co-worker then sprinkle some under their desk or around their work area. It won't affect the people you don't target so don't be afraid about walking over it yourself.

*A note on how to use Hot Foot Powder: When you sprinkle Hot Foot Powder, walk backward bent at the waist, and call your target's full name, commanding them to go away. Walk an odd number of steps when you sprinkle (3, 5, 9, etc.).

Hot Foot Bottle Spell to Get Rid of a Roommate

If you are sharing a living space with someone and want to make them go away or move out, you need to hit them with a harder Hot Foot Spell and this Hot Foot Bottle Spell is just the trick. Here's what you'll need:

• 1 packet of Hot Foot Powder
• 1 empty bottle
• 1 used dirty sock belonging to your target

Make sure to use a dirty sock that has not been cleaned for this trick. It will have your target's sweat on it and this will hit them on a physical level. Put the sock in the bottle and add in about half a packet of Hot Foot Powder. When you cap the bottle pray over it and ask God to drive the pestiferous roommate away from your house, force them to move away and leave you alone for good. Then take the bottle to a river that runs out of town and throw it into the river over your left shoulder and don't look back. The person will run out of your life just like that river runs out of town. (If you do not have access to a river, then you can also toss the bottle into a crossroads way out on the edge of town to drive that person out of town.)

Next return home and sprinkle Hot Foot Powder in the roommate's shoes. Put some in their bedroom under their bed. Put some in their foot powder if they use some, or in their talcum powder if they use that on their body. Put it everywhere you can so that they will constantly be hit with the Hot Foot Powder and be driven out of your home for good. You can even double up by using GTFO! Oil (Hot Foot Oil) on the doorknobs in the house, dripping some in their shampoo bottle or body wash.

Hoodoo Hot Foot Recipe to Get Rid of Coworkers

How often have you been asked to participate in a pot luck at work? This is a perfect time to affect your bothersome coworkers with rootwork on a very powerful physical level by feeding them spells and powders. Just remember do not eat the food yourself - you don't want your Hot Foot Spell to backfire on you!

Hot Foot "Aztec Chocolate" Cupcakes:

• A box of chocolate cake mix from the store and the required ingredients to make it
• A cupcake pan
• Metallic cupcake liners
• 1 tsp cayenne pepper
• Coffee
• 1 packet of Hot Foot Powder
• Chocolate frosting

Mix up the cake mix as usual, but replace the required water with an equal amount of fresh brewed coffee. As you stir constantly in a counter-clockwise direction as you make the mix. Add in 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper and a good pinch of Hot Foot Powder and blend well into the mix. Fill your cupcake pan with metallic cupcake liners, and as you place each one pray over them stating "May all your gossip and wicked deeds be reflected back at you! I hold you accountable for your gossip, for throwing me under the bus and for your conniving at work. In Jesus' name I pray!" Pour the mix into the metallic cups and cut a double cross into the top of each cake. (An equal armed cross with a second cross bar in it) Bake as the cake as usual. Once the cakes are baked, allow them to cool, then frost them with chocolate frosting in a counter-clockwise direction continually commanding your coworkers to leave their job either willfully or forcefully. Pray with great emotion.

Serve up your kitchen conjure Hot Foot Cupcakes at the pot luck and make sure your most hated coworkers have at least a taste. Make sure to let them know they are Aztec Chocolate cupcakes and they have a bit of a kick in them. Then sit back and watch the magic work.

A Hot Foot Hoodoo Candle Spell

When you can't sprinkle Hot Foot Powder where your target can walk over it, another approach is to apply some sympathetic magic and use a figural candle. These can be obtained in either male or female forms, and I typically use a black candle since I am afflicting the target to make them leave. The process is very simple, and the ingredients are easy to come by. Here's what you'll need to cast a Hot Foot Hoodoo Candle Spell.

• 1 packet of Hot Foot Powder
• 1 bottle of GTFO! Oil (Hot Foot Oil)
• A black figural candle of the appropriate gender for your enemy
• Pins
• Crushed red peppers
• Hair, fingernail clippings or a photo of your target
• a plate

Take the figural candle and carve your target's name into the back of it. Then on the front of the candle carve "Go Away!" Dress the candle with GTFO! Oil (Hot Foot Oil) by wiping the oil from the head of the candle down to the feet, stroking away from you as you command your enemy by name to get the hell out of your life forever. Place the personal concerns for your target (hair, fingernail clippings or photo) under your plate. Dust the candle with Hot Foot Powder and place it on top of the plate. Dust the entire plate with Hot Foot Powder, and make four little "roads" of crushed red peppers, leading away from the figural candle toward the top, bottom, left and right of the plate (simulating your enemy standing at a crossroads of crushed peppers. Place pins in the candle's butt and feet stating "So-and-so,  you cannot rest or stand still until you get the hell out of this town and out of my life forever! In Jesus' name Amen!" Then light the candle and let it burn as you yell at the candle calling it by your enemy's name commanding it to get out of your life and out of your town forever.

Let the candle burn all the way down but keep your eye on it as Hot Foot Spells tend to burn fast and often erupt in flame. Be cautious. Once the candle is done burning, gather any unburned wax from the spell and the personal concerns under the plate into a small paper bag. Take this to a river the runs out of town and toss it into the river over your left shoulder. Don't look back. (If there are no rivers around then toss it into a trash can near a crossroad, and don't look back.)

Spells to Overcome Alcoholism and Drug Addiction

Substance abuse and addiction have become a very common thing in this bad economy. Many people are turning to drugs and alcohol to escape the reality of life's pressures. For some this is a very serious situation that quickly becomes an issue of addiction and dependency. While ultimately the best treatment for such conditions is professional help, a rehab facility or a recovery program like Alcoholics Anonymous, these individuals can also be helped on a spiritual level to keep them strong and focused on their sobriety. Below I present a few spells that you can do to help conquer alcoholism, drug addiction and other addictive behaviors. (Again, these are NOT a substitution for professional help - please contact a local chapter of A.A., N.A. or speak to your doctor for assistance.)

Novenas for Strength in Recovery
Because you can't "make" someone be sober, the battle to conquer addictions is ultimately a solo, uphill struggle. You can't perform a controlling spell to make someone stop smoking, drinking or taking drugs - but you can give them the spiritual assistance they need to make the right choices when they are at a crossroads in their recovery. A great way to do this is with continual and focused prayer to specific Catholic saints. Here are two novenas that I've had good results.

Novena to Saint Martin of Tours (San Martin Caballero)
Saint Martin is often considered the patron saint of alcoholics or reformed alcoholics as well as those who are destitute and needing help. He is typically depicted (to the right) on horseback offering his cloak to a beggar below him. He is called upon for his assistance in desperate times and to help make the right decisions in recovery. His feast day is November 11.

You'll need:

• A white glass-encased vigil candle
• An image of Saint Martin of Tours (you can print one from the internet)
• Glue
• Blessing Oil
• A photo of the addicted person
• a ceramic saucer or plate

Wipe down the glass-encased candle with some ammonia or Florida Water to clean it of any residue. Using a very thin, light coating of glue, adhere the image of Saint Martin of Tours to the glass. Poke three holes down into the wax from the top using a skewer or other pointed tool. Drip one drop of Blessing Oil in each hole. Place the photo of the addicted individual under the saucer. Hold the candle to your heart and pray with all your heart for the recovery and sobriety of the addicted person, calling their full name aloud. Then hold the candle up to the heavens and pray to God and Saint Martin of Tours to rescue this person in need, assist them in their most desperate time and help them cleanse their life of this addiction. Tap the candle on the table three times to lock in your intention then place it on top of the saucer so that as the candle burns it will bring light to the person whose photo is under it. Light the candle.

Now for the next nine days you'll pray the following:

1. One recitation of The Lord's Prayer (Our Father)
2. 10 recitations of the Hail Mary
3. One recitation of the Glory Be
4. One recitation of The Prayer of Saint Martin of Tours:

Prayer of Saint Martin of Tours:

Dear well-beloved Saint, you were first a soldier like your father.
Converted to the Church, you became a soldier of Christ, a priest and then a Bishop of Tours. Lover of the poor, and model for pagans and Christians alike, protect our soldiers at all times. Make them strong, just, and charitable, always aiming at establishing peace on earth. Amen.

Every day you'll return to the candle and pray the above prayers. Your candle will extinguish before the 9 days are up, but continue to pray over the glass. You can, optionally, just prepare a second candle and light it off of the first one when you know that it's going to burn out soon. Those two candles will burn for a cumulative time of about 10-11 days.

Novena to the Venerable Matt Talbot

Matt Talbot is a very powerful spirit to call upon when battling alcoholism. While he is not yet a saint he is one step away from being canonized by the Catholic Church. I've had tremendous success with calling upon the assistance of the Venerable Matt Talbot on the behalf of those battling the addiction.

Matt Talbot began working at the age of 12 at a wine bottling facility and that was when his drinking began. He was a severe alcoholic his entire life and at the age of 28 he went to confession and pledged an oath to not drink for three months. A year later he renewed his pledge and never touched alcohol again for the rest of his life (41 years). He dedicated his life to prayer, daily mass and penitence. He died in 1925 of a severe heart attack and news of his holiness spread quickly. A formal decree of his virtues was on October 3, 1975.

Similar to the novena to Saint Martin of Tours, a novena can be prayed to the Venerable Matt Talbot for assistance in overcoming alcoholism. Here's a great working you can do to help your loved ones who are battling the disease.

You'll need:

• a blue glass-encased vigil candle
• an icon of the Venerable Matt Talbot (Seen to the right)
• glue
• a bottle of Holy Oil
• a packet of Evil BEGONE! Powder
• a photo of the person struggling with alcoholism
• a saucer or plate

First clean the candle by wiping down the glass with some ammonia or Florida Water to remove any residue. Then using a very thin, light layer of glue, stick the image of the icon on the front of the glass-encased candle. Poke three holes down into the wax from the top of the candle and into each hole drip one drop of Holy Oil. Put a little pinch of Evil BEGONE! Powder in the top of the candle, and set it aside.

Taking the person's photo, put a pinch of Evil BEGONE! Powder over their face. Then fold the photo in half away from you. Turn it one-quarter turn counter-clockwise and fold it in half away from you again. Repeat this one last time for a total of three folds. Place the folded photo under the plate. Holding the candle to your heart, pray with all your might for the person who is battling alcoholism. Call out to the Venerable Matt Talbot to help this person overcome the demons he faces and for his mind to be illuminated and his heart to be strong in the face of adversity. Hold the candle up toward the heavens and ask God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit to bless your prayer and make it happen. Then tap the candle three times on your table to seal in the prayer, and place it on top of the plate. Light the candle.

Now for the next nine days you'll pray the following:

1. One recitation of The Lord's Prayer (Our Father)
2. 10 recitations of the Hail Mary
3. One recitation of the Glory Be
4. On recitation of the Prayer for the Addicted (below)
5. One recitation of The Prayer for the canonization of Venerable Matt Talbot (below)

Prayer for the Addicted:

God of mercy, we bless You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who ministered to all who come to Him. Give Your strength to N., Your servant, bound by the chains of addiction. Enfold him/her in Your love and restore him/her to the freedom of God's children. Lord, look with compassion on all those who have lost their health and freedom. Restore to them the assurance of Your unfailing mercy, and strengthen them in the work of recovery. To those who care for them, grant patient understanding and a love that perseveres. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer for the canonization of Venerable Matt Talbot:

Lord, in your servant, Matt Talbot you have given us a wonderful example of triumph over addiction, of devotion to duty, and of lifelong reverence of the Holy Sacrament. May his life of prayer and penance give us courage to take up our crosses and follow in the footsteps of Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Father, if it be your will that your beloved servant should be glorified by your Church, make known by your heavenly favours the power he enjoys in your sight. We ask this through the same Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.

Again, your candle will not last the full 9 days. You can prepare a second one and light it off of the first one, or simple use only one candle and continue your prayers even though the light is not lit. At the end of the working, take the folded photo of the person battling addiction and deposit it at a church door to bring that person to God. You can also put a pinch of Evil BEGONE! Powder in the person's hat or shoes to help them overcome their addiction beyond the work of the novena.

Sow the Seeds of Discord with Inflammatory Confusion Products

... the art of using troops is this: When ten to the enemy's one, surround him; When five times his strength, attack him; if double his strength, divide him...

The Art of War, Sun Tzu

One of the best tactics when doing enemy work is to separate them from his supporters. This is a great approach when dealing with court case issues where family is supporting your enemy, or where friends are their critical witnesses. Another good case for the "divide and conquer" strategy is when facing a whole slew of gossiping people, or a small crew of people who are working roots against you.

What's the best way to divide them up and turn them against one another? Inflammatory confusion work! Inflammatory confusion works not only to befuddle and confuse your enemies but drives them to the point of anger, arguments and flat out fighting with one another. Viper turns against viper and the whole nest ends up poisoned. It's a drastic strategy but an effective one. Here are some inflammatory confusion spells that you might be able to use to your benefit.

NOTE: Make sure to cleanse yourself with Uncrossing Herb Bath after using any Inflammatory Confusion products so you don't track that chaotic energy into your personal life.

Inflammatory Confusion Candle Spell

This is a pretty straight forward candle spell, but it uses pins to stab at your enemy's thoughts. You'll need a black skull candle (to get inside your enemy's head), and a box of pins.

your enemy's name on the back of the candle and the words "Inflammatory Confusion" on the forehead of the candle. Set it aside. Then get a photo of your enemy, write their name 9 times stacked on the back of it, turn it 1/4 turn counter-clockwise and cross their name with "Confused Arguing and Fighting" stacked nine times. Dress the four corners and the center of the photo with Inflammatory Confusion Oil. Fold the photo away from you in half, turn it 1/4 turn counter-clockwise and fold it in half away from you again. Repeat this one last time for a total of three folds.

Place the photo under a plate. Dress the black skull candle with Inflammatory Confusion Oil by stroking the oil in erratic swirling patterns all over it. As you do so, state your enemy's name aloud and say "Confused are your thoughts! Befuddled your words! Your temper is flaring and your blood-pressure rises! You can't take it any more and you lash out in ferocious anger at everyone around you making a God-damned fool of yourself for all to see!" Now dust the candle with Inflammatory Confusion Powder praying something similar in your own words. Place the candle on the plate.

Now, light the candle and one by one, take the pins from the box and heat them over the candle's flame, then stick them into the skull candle. As you do so, curse your enemy out loud. Say horrendous things about them, call out their insecurities, command them to lose their temper and scream and fight with others. Do so until the entire box of pins is in the skull candle. Make sure to stick one in each eye to warp their vision of the world, one in each ear to distort what they hear, and several in the mouth to twist up their words.

Burn the candle all the way down, then dispose of the remains in a hole in a tree so that your enemy cannot track down who did the working to them. If you want to be a bit more "fair" in your rootwork, you can couch everything you did above with the statements "UNTIL YOU DO RIGHT BY ME!" so that the enemy has a chance for redemption.

Chaos and Confusion Bottle Spell

This is a great bottle spell to cause a group of people to break their friendships and turn their backs on one another. A perfect application would be a if a group of people are ganging up on you constantly at work. Another situation where I used this spell was to get a group of family members to stop covering up for a person's crimes, and to turn him in to the police.

You'll need:

• A glass jar with a metal lid
• Personal concerns for every targeted enemy (you can use photos, but hair gives the best result)
• A cork
• 9 needles
• Inflammatory Confusion Powder
• Inflammatory Confusion Oil
• A red candle
• 9 dried red chili peppers
• 1 packet of Uncrossing Herb Bath

Take each person's concerns and add them to the glass jar. Then add in an entire packet of Inflammatory Confusion Powder. Add in the chili peppers. Now take the 9 needles and very carefully insert them into a cork so their points stick out the other end. Toss this cork into the jar as well. (An effective alternative at this point is to fill the jar with vinegar if you want to sour their relationships, but it's not really necessary and it can get messy. BUT IT'S EFFECTIVE!) Cap the jar, and start shaking it up (swirl it if it's filled with vinegar) and as you do so, the needles will poke all of the people inside and cause them to get irritated and angry with one another and break out in fights. As you shake the jar, curse those who are in it.

Set the jar down. Take your red candle and carve "Angry and Confused Arguments" on it. Dress it with Inflammatory Confusion Oil by stroking the oil on away from you. Melt the bottom of the candle a bit and stick it to the top of the jar, then light it and let it burn all the way down. Every day for 3 weeks, shake up the jar, cursing all those inside of it. I burn down red candles on the jar every 3 days or so.

The enemies will bicker with one another, then argue, then fight, turn their backs on one another and break up their friendships and part ways. Once your spell has been accomplished, take the jar, unscrew the lid and toss it into a river that is flowing out of town to wash these people out of your life, out of town and away to another place. Again, if you want to leave a chance for redemption for those involved, as you curse you can add the disclaimer "UNTIL YOU DO RIGHT BY ME AND CHANGE YOUR WAYS, THEN THIS CURSE SHALL BE LIFTED FROM YOU!"

Remember to do your Uncrossing Bath afterward to cleanse the chaos of these products off of your body.

Success and Eloquence Spells to Win!

Success Spells Help You Win!

Most clients come to me seeking assistance with a common magical goal: "bring me my lover back!" or "help me get a job" or "protect me from my enemies!" But what about those situations where your goal isn't one of the common ones like love, money, protection or cursing? What if you just want to succeed in some endeavor, or do well at something? Well that's where success spells come in.

Success spells revolve around giving you the upper hand, making you skilled at what you are doing, and making you a powerful force that conquers everything in your path. Success spells are great for succeeding at a project, or in a competition, or even for added eloquence in writing, speaking, competing and anything that requires you to outshine the competition. I often recommend success spells to student that want to pass a class, writers that want to publish, lawyers that want to win an argument, or business people that seek to have their proposals approved by clients.

Commonly, magical products blended for success are called "Crown of Success" but I've elected to call my products "Success and Eloquence" because I feel it better communicates the full spectrum of their application.

Here are a few different spell ideas to help you succeed in all that you do.

Success and Eloquence Candle Spell for New Projects

This is an easy-to-do spell that I like to set when I'm about to undertake a new field of study, start writing a paper or creating a new project that I really want to succeed. Start this spell on a Sunday when the moon is waxing.

You'll need:

• 1 yellow glass-encased candle
• 1 printed image or photo of a crown
• scissors
• tacky glue
• 1 bottle of Success and Eloquence Oil
• 1 High John the Conqueror Root
• 1 small chunk of pyrite
• 1 bay leaf
• 1 red flannel bag

Start by cleaning your glass-encased candle with a little ammonia or glass cleaner on a paper towel. This removes any of the residual energy it might have picked up. Next cut the image of the crown out from the background. Glue the image to the front of the candle with the tacky glue. Now drill three holes down into the wax using any pointy implement like a chopstick or skewer. Into the holes, drip a little Success and Eloquence Oil - less is more - don't overdo it. Set the candle aside.

Take your High John the Conqueror Root and dress it with some of the Success and Eloquence Oil. As you do so, pray aloud "I call upon the spirit of this High John the Conqueror Root to make me strong in heart and strong in spirit that I overcome and conquer this situation! In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen!" Set the High John aside.

Dress the chunk of pyrite with Success and Eloquence Oil and pray, "I call upon the spirit of this pyrite to make my endeavors golden. May my pockets be overflowing with prosperity as a result of my success. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen!" Set the pyrite aside.

Dress the bay leaf with a dab of Success and Eloquence Oil and pray, "I call upon the spirit of this bay leaf to crown me with the laurel wreath of success as a champion in (this project - whatever it may be). In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen!"

Now, arrange the bay leaf, high john and pyrite into a triangular shape with the bay leaf at the top point, the high john at the lower right point, and the pyrite at the lower left point. In the center of the triangle you will be placing the candle. But first, hold the candle to your heart and pray with great emotion for the success you seek in your project, then hold the candle to your head and ask God to crown you with success in His Holy Name. Now tap the candle three times on the surface, place it in the center of the triangle and light the candle.

Get to task on your project, be it writing or planning. As the candle burns, it illuminates your efforts, guiding you to success. When the candle finishes burning out, gather up the three items and put them into a red flannel bag - this now becomes a success mojo bag for you to carry. Tie off the bag, dress it with a 5-spot of Success and Eloquence Oil, and carry it on your body whenever you work on your project.

Success Spell using Powders on Business Cards or Papers

Another great way of influencing others to your success is by lacing items with magical powders. You can do this to contracts or proposals to have them accepted, or you can powder business cards to succeed in bids for business. You can powder school papers to influence your teachers to give you better grades. Another idea is to powder manuscripts that you send in to potential publishers to succeed in getting them to work with you. The process for all of these is the same.

You'll need:

• 1 packet of Success and Eloquence Powder
• your papers

Lay out all of your papers or business cards face down on a surface. Take a bit of the Success and Eloquence Powder and sprinkle it over the papers. As you do so, pray to God for your success in whatever endeavor you seek. Remember, the harder you pray and the more emotional intensity that you put into the magic, the more effective it will be.

Next, run your four fingers over the papers in wavy lines like snake tracks through the powders. This seals the energy of the powder into the paper. Shake the excess powder off of the paper, and then give it a flick with your finger to snap any residual powder off. Then hand the papers over to the person you intend to affect. When they grab the paper, their hand will touch the back of the card, and they will be influenced by your magical spell.

St. Jude for Success with Hopeless Causes

While not strictly hoodoo, some people to work with the saints in order to assist them in their goals. Saint Jude is the patron saint of lost causes. He is called upon when a situation seems dire or like there is no hope in your success. You can pair together a petition to Saint Jude along with some Success and Eloquence products for a great one-two punch.

You'll need:

• A Saint Jude statue
• A yellow glass-encased candle
• A bottle of Success and Eloquence Oil
• A small charm in the shape of a crown or a St. Jude medallion you can wear

Place the Saint Jude statue on your working surface. Take your yellow candle and drip a few drops of Success and Eloquence Oil into the top. Now, dress your crown charm or St. Jude medallion with Success and Eloquence Oil and hang it around the neck of the statue. Hold the candle to your heart and pray the following prayer of St. Jude.

O most holy apostle, St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, people honor and invoke you universally, as the patron of hopeless cases, of things almost despaired of. Pray for me, for I am so helpless and alone. Please help to bring me visible and speedy assistance. Come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolation and help of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly (state your request) and that I may praise God with you always.

Tap the candle on the table three times in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen! Set the candle beside the statue and light it. Every day that the candle burns, return to the statue and repeat the prayer above. When the candle has finished burning, remove the charm or St. Jude medallion from the statue and wear it as a necklace to carry St. Jude's watchful assistance with you. I also recommend continuing to pray the prayer every day until the impossible has been made possible for you.
